the skin & wellness studio
The Skin and Wellness Studio, a local female owned aesthetic injection and hormone replacement business, came to me to create a logo and business card.
Working in close partnership with her, I created a logo that met her need for a timeless and clean aesthetic. Using a palette of neutral colors and minimalist design principles, we feel the logo exudes an air of sophistication and trustworthiness.
the basil project
The Basil Project, a Salt Lake City-based non-profit specializing in naturally dyed goods, came to me to create a logo and business card design.
Collaborating with the founder, I created a logo with a hand drawn aesthetic, echoing the artisanal process of natural fabric dyeing. To enhance the connection to their craft, I selected a muted palette of blues and warm browns that reflect the tones found in their dyed fabrics.
pluralsight brand refresh
In response to the evolving needs of the tech workforce development company, Pluralsight, I alongside the creative team spearheaded a comprehensive brand refresh.
There was a desire to pivot from the previous black-centric, sleek brand identity to a more approachable and delightful aesthetic. To address this, we introduced a more balanced color palette, a textural library, and illustration guidelines. We reconsidered the primary logo, product logos, and nearly all external facing marketing materials.
black mill cabin
Owned by a local art centric Salt Lake City couple, The Black Mill Cabin is a charming A-frame retreat. It was slated for rental on Airbnb, and they sought a logo that would authentically represent the cabin's modern mountain getaway vibe.
To ensure the final design resonated with the public, I conducted a survey, inviting potential guests to vote on their favorite logo. I felt this approach guaranteed that the chosen logo was not just aesthetically pleasing to designers and artists, but also resonated with the target audience, setting the stage for a successful rental venture.
